Department of Ayush - Partnership with NGO and Ayurveda Expert

Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of AYUSH would like to build a partnership with NGOs and Ayurveda experts in foreign Countries and if they so desire, can depute young Ayurveda professionals to assist them in propagation of Ayurveda and other Indian Systems of Medicine in those countries.

2.  Accordingly, Department of AYUSH has drastically revised its International Cooperation Scheme which includes the following new features:

• Deputation of Indian experts and officers to attend meetings and conferences on Traditional Medicine.

• Incentives to Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani drug manufacturers to participate in Trade Fairs/Trade Shows abroad.

• Deputation of young Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani professionals to NGOs working in foreign countries to propagate AYUSH systems.

• Translation and publication of AYUSH books in foreign languages.
  20 fellowships for foreign students for undertaking AYUSH courses in premier institutions in India .
